Japanese 20D Draw-textured Yan
What it is:

“20D” refers to the denier count of the yarn, a measurement of the fiber thickness. A 20D yarn is extremely fine and lightweight, which is ideal for applications where low bulk and high performance are critical—like ultralight cycling jackets or technical outdoor gear.

Draw-textured yarn (DTY) is a synthetic filament yarn (often nylon or polyester) that has been processed to create added elasticity, volume, and softness. The “draw-texturing” process involves heating, stretching, and twisting the yarn to give it a slightly crimped or curly structure—unlike smooth or flat filaments.
