Hour six. The gradient kicks up, you've slipped off the back, and there's still a mountain in front of you. Every rider knows this moment. And it's rarely the legs that decide it — it's the small frictions stacking up until stopping starts to sound reasonable. The seam you keep noticing. The collar rubbing. The gripper sliding. Heat you can't shed.
We know it because we ride the same roads we build on. You're the one who has to cross that line. We just make sure your kit isn't the reason you don't.
So What is comfort?
Most people hear "comfort" and think soft, slow, cushioned. The opposite of performance. In cycling it means something else entirely.
Comfort is nothing between you and the effort. It's the absence of distraction. From km zero or after km 150. Nobody abandons a climb because their jersey was uncomfortable. They abandon it because a hundred small frictions added up to a reason to stop.
You go beyond your limits by having nothing pulling you back, each time gaining a new perspective on what it means to get out of that zone.
Cycling is about that feeling of being capable, feeling comfortable in that tough zone, so that's where we work.
How we do it: textile first
Cycling apparel is a textile business that mostly pretends to be a fashion business. We work the other way around. We start with the material then apply it to great looking clothing.
Real innovation in performance textiles happens in a handful of mills around the world — people who spend years engineering a yarn so we can apply it to the demand of road cycling. That work is extraordinary, and it mostly gets used in industries that aren't ours. Our job is to find it, understand it, and apply it to cycling in a way that evokes an emotional connection both on and off bike.
So we read fabric the way a science experiment might start. Weight, temp regulation, recovery, muscle control...what it does when you need it most. These fabrics need to be noticeably different when push your limits but also when you first get that product in your hands. We understand that applying these textile technologies to great looking clothing is our 'cima', becuase kit you like looking at is kit you actually reach for.
We're not interested in technical garments that look like equipment. The tech is underneath — in the yarn, the panel, the seam, the gripper. What you see is a garment you're happy to be photographed in at the top of the climb. Both things, always. Neither one alone is enough.
Made in Medellín
These fabrics might be milled around the globe, but they all end up here, in Medellín. Everything we makes passed through our hands before getting to yours. We make cut, sewn, printed and checked in our own city Medellín, 30 minutes from climbs that top 2,500 meters. A fabric idea that would take another brand two seasons to validate takes us a few days. Sample it Monday. Sew it Tuesday. Ride it Wednesday at altitude, in real heat, on a real descent, by the people who chose the fabric in the first place. If it doesn't hold up, it never becomes a product.
None of this matters on an easy ride. On an easy ride, anything works. It matters on the day you'd planned for months. The fondo you weren't sure about or the climb you've been avoiding. Those days don't come around often, and they're decided by small margins — including the ones you shouldn't have to think about.
We design it, we source the material, we make it ourselves. No extras layers. What you pay for is the fabric and the making. That's how you end up with genuine textile innovation at a price that doesn't require a second thought — and why so much of our growth has come from riders who bought one piece to test us and came back for the rest.
That's the part we're responsible for. You handle the rest. Our whole job is to be forgettable in the best possible way — so that 150km+, on the steep part, the only thing on your mind is whether you've got it in you.
